Product Overview
Norma packages brass for their Shooter’s Pack in handy quantities. The finest brass on the market is known worldwide to be Norma USA Brass. The finest raw materials with the tightest tolerances are used at the beginning of these cases. The case body is at its ideal hardness to prevent any needless stretching, while the case necks are annealed to soften the brass and stop gas leaks. Case mouths are deburred and chamfered, and the flash hole is punched in new, unprimed brass (magnum calibers are drilled). It is best to size these cases before loading. This isn’t ammunition that has been loaded.
Brass Preparation:It’s possible to occasionally find a few case mouths that are “out of round” or slightly damaged below the shoulder when dealing with bulk rifle brass. These flaws arise during the last tumbling wash procedure following annealing of the case mouth. Although brass producers have attempted to reduce the esthetic impact of their products, denting may nevertheless happen as a result of equipment design. Small dings are often fixed during the initial firing and have no effect on case longevity or functionality. The anneal stain on non-plated brass might not have been completely polished off, giving the case neck a possible pink hue. You might note that the case mouths of some cases of lower caliber are somewhat belled.
